I’m glad the book itself brought up “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” parallel, as I definitely picked up that vibe too. While clearly not the same exact plot, it was definitely giving off similar vibes. Also, while I know there needs to some suspension of belief, I really don’t know how their boss can get away with this challenge/assignment.
