I really should DNF. BUT what I really should have done is read some reviews that told me this man won't fully commit to going for the fmc because his wife who he loved left him and took his kid away. He doesn't want to go all in with the fmc because what if his wife comes back!!!! Yes that's right. He doesn't want to fall in too deep with the fmc because what if his past love comes back!!! I have major ick now!
