I was really hoping this wasn't going to be a grooming type of relationship but 18 and 15 is exactly what that sounds like to me. :(
Then add the fact that although Mary seems smart, she was only in school up until 9 years old, so there is knowledge that she lacks adding to my feeling that she is being taken advantage of. :(
