The moment the seduction takes a turn, because Abbie knows what she wants from a man, and Casey isn't the kind of man you'd even share a Netflix account with. Casey's amazing, forget-who-you-are sex. And that's not enough for Abbie. Until he says something that turns the tables completely. I loved this part of their story, and I was smashing away at the keys trying to get everything out of my brain onto the page.

I'm just getting into my stride now, and I was SO looking forward to the shopping scene. This is where the infamous line came into play. "He looks like he belongs on a bloody Athena poster." For anyone who follows me on socials, you may remember my post about Casey. Holding a baby. I smiled my way through. And this is where Abbie sees a softer side to Casey. The man beneath the mask and the steel exterior.
