Spoilers for a book that came out 25 years ago, but still... I'm loving that Tom and Hester are aviators with their own airship. But they are stranded adrift, and Hester is about to accept her death (which feels very incharacter), but then sees a city and her first reaction is that they are saved and the they just waltz aboard it? Did they just completely forget being stranded and captured in the first book?
