I would DNF this if it wasn't for a group read. This feels like reading a bad light novel, but with none of the wack crap that makes a LN enjoyable even if its bad.
Darrow reads as character that a teen boy is meant to self insert themselves into. The Reds feel like they're living a blue collar life written by someone who has never done a blue collar job. I have had a biological rejection to these 20 pages.
