Christian Hamaker’s Reviews > In Defense of Evangelicalism: A Response to Its Cultured Despisers > Status Update

I'm really looking forward to this.

I’ve just read it. It delivered what I wanted it to deliver in terms of countering the onslaught of ex-vangelical stuff I’ve been exposed to in recent years, but I wanted more incisive commentary about where the “cultured despisers” *might be on to something* about the turn evangelicalism has taken under Trump. That said, it was a pleasure to read and argue with, and I devoured it in relatively (for me) short order.

3.5 stars. I rounded down rather than up, but I do recommend the book.

That's helpful. I'll give it a read, with expectations in check!
