Ah, yes finally getting to the meat of it!
...Unfortunately there is mostly bone.

More than 70% of the book so far is unnecessary filler.
Combat that lacks any real punch and is as impactful to the narrative as a paper straw is to eating a strawberry - they do share the same root word but have no real practical connection.

It's like watching Naruto fillers. Useless and time-wasting.

Big immersion break whenever someone speaks directly. Characters don't feel robotic, lacking a soul or even highly intelligent or at all, which should be the default for any necron lord.

A bit disappointed frankly, but let's assume, for my sake, I am reading the adventures of a teenager and his collection as a hobby. In such case so far so good.
