Agnes is so beautiful. she’s magical. literally
it is so amazing that she could actually sense it, it was a malevolent smell that came from him when she started noticing something was off. that makes their whole decline so much more tragic. it was like his own plague.

the beauty of agnes’s childhood and her mother, how the room he lives in was his, eliza’s and anne’s safe place, the abuse he has to endure from his father.
oh my god agnes’s stepmother is the worst, but his pride and happiness realising she’s pregnant and that immediately being crushed by his father??
