Charlie is cute but some of his behaviours are unusual for a 15 year old !boy! Some of his thoughts and how inexperienced he is is just unusual. Idk maybe in his generation it was different but if you’re 15 you usually are not this innocent. Especially in America… idk but he is really cute and has the sweetest intentions. Everything else is so relatable as a teenager. Love it!

I wonder if the author was inspired by his old journal that he used to write in when he was younger because how can I grown up describe teenagers so accurately?

It feels like I’m reading letters that I have written in another universe to myself. And now that I’m here in this reality and that I have forgotten everything about the other me I’m allowed to read these letters. Everything is so relatable. I believe that this book reflects youth/teenagers so well.
