I don't really expect Sci fi to always be an action adventure, that's never been my style. I like the exploration of alien species and the human experience of outer space. I feel like this is similar to The Outer Worlds funnily enough.

I am a sucker for character studies, alien sociology and anthropology. I love a feel good book, I am the target audience lol. It's not what I usually seek out in Sci fi. I mainly read time travel tbh so only adjacently Sci fi. I've read Becky Chambers other book, The Monk and The Robot and I thought that one was fine, more philosophically calm.
