This is my 4th read of this book and it's still excellent. (And it's my second time reading it for a book discussion program.) It's also my second time reading a Caitlin Doughty book after losing a grandparent. There's something very grounding in listening to her talk about different death practices and this time around I'm reflecting on my role in supporting my family a lot more deeply.

This is my third time reading this book (this time for work's book club) and it's rare for a nonfiction book to be so re-readable. It's an excellent meditation on death and the afterlife that always gives me something to think about.
