So we just learned that this curse and hunger dates back to prehistoric times and we are supposed to believe that Adam just three years turned is the leader of the entire pack? Even if he was already a cruel and controlling person he couldn’t have possibly been the first of that nature the succumb to this hunger.

I don’t understand why the guys are all butt hurt about finding out Aubrey is FBI. She never lied because they never asked. Obviously they’re paranoid because there is a criminal element not yet explained but she never lied about a damn thing. Fuck Jensen for acting like she’s betrayed him, his betrayal was so much worse.

“Months of tension” really?! It’s been like a week.

Oh and by the creek they keep referring to “what happened last night” but nothing happened last night, it was two nights ago.

It’s a big pet peeve of mine when books can’t keep their own timeline straight.

I feel like I’m too far into this book with no real progress on the story. The entire spice scene I just read was so lame and so cliche that it made me feel nothing except annoyance that Aubrey is using soap to wash herself in a creek because even biodegradable soap should not be used that close to a water source.

I was really looking forward to reading this, I hope it gets better and starts actually progressing.

Weird how she did absolutely no research on Jensen and immediately headed this way to throw 100k at him and then spends her time asking questions- the questions she should have been asking before.
