Mr and Mrs Reid don't act like parents who saw their son through a suicide attempt almost two months ago. And maybe that's because they aren't. They've buried it away, hiding the evidence, hoping that a short stay in the hospital and new medication can make whatever happened go away. And they're sitting here, eating dinner, pretending that nothing is wrong.

The Reading Frog wrote: "ow..... this got a lil kick to it 😩 very important topic to discuss!!💚"It really does 😩 Damn but this boy's situation is a perfect example how very important it is to have a strong social support to be able to battle mental health issues 🥺❤️
Evie wrote: "This book sounds like its gonna break some hearts 💔"Hopefully not mine too much ahaha 😅❤️ I'm mostly curious to see how the author goes from "let's commit suicide together" to "let's live, maybe even together" 👀
