I'm now enjoying this pre-Slough House series, Zoe Boehm has settled into herself (hard-boiled, wise-cracking, smart-thinking) ... but Herron is making each book just a bit different. In this, 3 seemingly separate storylines are beginning to merge, just under 1/3 way through, good fun.
