lit. I’d prolly go 2.5? Honestly, I think this book would’ve been a lot more fun with like a FEW simple changes. 1. Interacting more with mermaid-Leo/adding more scenes to make it feel more atmospheric. 2. The big thing is that Miranda is always choosing the safe option, and not much happens that’s truly out of the ordinary, like it all felt pretty plausible. 3. Less formal dialogue 4. Faster pacing.
