I bought this book because it’s set in my new neighborhood and it’s been fun reading about streets I know, like 140th and Hamilton—“New York was like that sometimes-you turn a corner and end up in an entirely different city, like magic. 140th Street was dark and silent, and Hamilton was a party.” My first sublet here last month was at the corner of 140th and Hamilton. Crazy!
