These books from the 90s are a trip. I’m not expecting them to be politically correct but the combination of racist turns of phrase and misogynistic men alongside queer advocacy and AIDS activism is dizzying. Not to mention; there is on page CSA, r*pe, and a coked out drunk driving football player who killed both him and his 18 year old woman passenger all within the first 10%. 😱
