The chapter on Lacan and Kristeva was brilliant. As someone sympathetic to the Hegelian dimension in Lacan's thought, I appreciate the sharp critique of the structuralist dimension. So far this compilation of essays does historicism, whenever it is invoked, quite brilliantly.
