After finding Satan in the deepest circle of hell and after seeing that he’s suffering the same fate as the other sinners. This broke mi previous conception of him. Since I’ve always thought of satan as the “lord” of hell I expected him to be a powerful entity who enjoys the suffering of others, however, he’s just another tortured soul for eternity

Im at the gates of the last circle of hell. This is supposed to be the worst sin of them all and the worst punishment as well, however, when we finally arrive to the farthest place from god is cold and still. That’s a big surprise…

The suicidal forest chapter is one of my favorites so far, I feel as if the deeper Dante goes through hell the more interest he has to speak to the condemned. The mix between the classic biblical and classic mythological characters make up to a wonderful landscape and residents of Hell.

Even though it’s sorta difficult to keep up with the numerous people and figures that appear on each episode. It is truly a splendorous work of art that faithfully depicts the morals not only of the author but the whole time it was written as well. Incredible world building and relations. Dante was truly one of a kind!!
