my parents forced me to do field hockey, which I hated. I was standing on the field, waiting for the game to be over. I thought, right now there are 20 mins left. After 10 minutes, half of that time will have passed. Then, after 5 minutes, half of THAT time will have passed, etc. etc. but that's so weird bc it will never get to 0 .... the boredom of sports makjes us all philosophers
