Each change meant the prospect of beginning again. The Spector of disappointment & failure of not making it or never arriving was softened by the physical range of my achievements; in the end I played in six countries on four different continents: Australia, Sweden, Korea, Lithuania, US & Norway.

A friend of mine played in Germany for ten years…When she asks me why I moved around so much why I didn’t stay in a team longer than a year I can only think it is because the movement was forgiving there was always a reason to leave & it was different every time. I wanted to be on a better team I wasn’t happy off the field I wanted to play at a higher level I wanted to live in a different city.
