Trying to hold back from too many live updates and I know this one was a long shot but in the first book Owen said something about “if Ryder doesn’t work out…” to Brennan so I was hoping there would be some “second choice” drama here but probably not bc Owen has already singled him out mentally TT but idk we can always hope and dream
