It’s funny that Lewis characterizes “evil organizations” as a bureaucracy. This theme is prominent in the book (That Hideous Strength), and even in The Screwtape Letters (where Hell is literally a bureaucracy) and in Voyager of the Dawn Treader. It’s probably due to Lewis’ negative experiences at Oxford, but it makes you realize how easy it is to hide evil behind “reputable” institutions
