I’m seeing some connections with reviews about there being a negative theme around parents who have to work full time because her thought is those parents won’t be able to properly connect and be attuned to their children. I can see how this can be a problem IF parents aren’t regulated and working on themselves and feeling burnt out, so they are less likely to give the kids what they need when they do act out.

There’s a lot of scripts and strategies in here for realistic situations with babies & toddlers. Some of the scripts I would change the word choice or change an alternate strategy but there’s lots of good information in here for any parent who doesn’t have a lot of psychology background with kids. It’s a great starting point once past the feeling of shame at the beginning, does make u reflect
