It must take skill to be able to narrate from the point of view of chad chadington. Genuinely insufferable narrator. Ursula Le Guin says very seriously and morosely that this dark character must be part of her own psyche in someway, as if it’s some horrific admission. He of course does evil things and thinks evil thoughts, but I find him pitiful
