jesus fuck this book is like that time i was knee-deep in water standing atop an ocean sandbar when a thunderstorm began. i was stranded there by a boat, and it was too far for me to swim to shore. so i just stood there and watched the storm with equal parts fear and wonder. like i don’t know how else to explain the way this thing makes me feel
