if only Lily had been honest with herself and with Ryle, she won’t be in this position. I feel like part of this is her fault ‘cause she had the chance to step back from all of this if there’s a tiny bit of feelings she hasn’t made peace with from her past. You don’t go in a relationship and commit if you have reservations.
