I’m finding layers of Lestat and it’s fascinating. I haven’t been this moved by a character in a while. There’s so many compelling components that make him and it makes it hard to find any hate for him. I feel like if I were to read Louis’ perspective I’d feel much like I do in the show— Lestat is clearly not perfect but he’s only after love and a need to fill the wrenching loneliness.
