i seemed to have rated this two stars initially

i wont be changing that
mainly bc im just over it and just blahhh rn

not going to round it up

the amount of repetitive shit was annoying af

the mental voices of all the mmcs sound the same
and cringe af

at times im rooting for them all
their relationship

but mostly it’s blegh

i really don’t need or want to read all their feelings for her
esp when theyre still so indistinguishable

unsurprised elias is the one thats been helping them

i wonder if he’ll be another mmc

that cliffhanger was a rush though
not in a good way

like yeah
i’m def going to read the next book in a minute
but i’m at the point again where the story is lagging a bit

hmm not sure what to rate this

but christ
is this book long af

there were a handful or two of adorable moments
mainly when the fmc is finally coming to realizations
and trying new experiences

the mmcs are all indistinguishable 🥱
besides the one guy
jagger
bc he’s mute and that really his only standout characteristic so far
as well as being a former marine

the others are so meh

i feel meh

also idk why the fuck i think my plastic water bottle keeps crackling randomly and loudly

this started off well
in a way that already had me rooting for the fmc
but mainly for the downfall and bloody torturous death of the fmcs brother and the old creep he tried to trade his sister to

the fmcs character i can buy into
stupidly sweet

starting this series
somewhat spontaneously

can’t recall if i’d already had book one on my want to reads list or not

anyways
before this
i’d just finished rereading the dynosauros series to get to the fourth and fifth books
it was all very meh
but the last book was better and im impatiently waiting for the sequel/s

so i’m mentally a bit drained from so much reading on my phone
