I am so bothered by this book. Lorcan is just detestable and no justification makes his forcing of the bond, his smothering of Kierse’s magic, and his inability to think himself anything other than her/the hero ok. NOTHING. Even less can justify Kierse ever justifying it or having any feelings other than disgust and hatred toward Lorcan. I think Linde should be ashamed of herself for positioning things this way.
