Apparently she’s technically married to Atraxos or whatever his name is but it’s not like he actually loves her, she just devotes herself to him and he accepts it. Sometimes. Whenever it pleases him.
Poor Mische. She needs and deserves love so much.
Idk if it’s just that my feelings carry from past books in a series but I feel like this will be a 9/10.

In general, I love getting to experience authors’ worldbuilding.
So right now we are in the first layer of the underworld. Bone mountains, blood rivers that lift into the air, misty skies, giant mushrooms and glass temples. It’s a cool visual.
But there are like seven layers to the underworld and I just wonder if I will get bored? Will they each be really different? I hope so.

I thought I’d hate vampires. I already miss Oraya and Rainh and the House of Night.
This entire world is crazy. So detailed and I just love being here lol. The house of night with its palaces and desserts and the mountains they hid in, Glaea with the Salt Keep. The House of Shadow with the ocean and greenery and stunningly gothic Morthryn. It’s so cool here.

She made everyone think she was leaving bc she didn’t have a home in the house of night
But SHE LEFT TO PROTECT THEM
because she knew the Shadowborns would come after her for killing the prince.
And they did.
Asar, the mmc, smells like cold florals apparently and lowkey I’d like that too.
There’s a tad much “I always smile” and “I’m super talkative”.. but I’ll get over it.
