you know what? its genuinely a nice book and its really easy to read (probably because of how it was translated, i have this hate for translated books because i feel like words or phrases lose their meaning when they get translated) and its quite a catchy book. After reading The Sorrows of Young Werther i really needed a book like this

i find it kind of creepy and predatory that he is her old teacher ngl. i just want to read it to see what happens in the rest of the book, but the beginning is kind of off-putting
