These past chapters are so crazy! I love the dynamic between Liam and Ruby. He's just so sweet and so dorky. At first I didn't really like Chubs at all. He's too witty and sarcastic and doesn't like our protagonist- but I see where he is coming from and why he wants to protect her. Zu is so sweet. She is too cute. The poor girl is such a sweetie. I love how she loves girl time so much and views Ruby as a sister.

Reading these past few chapters was crazy! Ruby is such a boss! I love the dynamic between Liam and Suzume, and how Liam is so protective over her like a big brother. I think that other than Ruby, Liam is my favorite character so far, because he super kind to Ruby. I really like Suzume, although I wonder what her power is. I like the dynamic between the whole group, with Liam and Suzume doing whatever they want.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a good dystopian, so I was really glad to jump into a new book. I felt a little sick reading the first chapters with the children who died and the fact that Ruby’s parents sent her to a rehabilitation camp. The dynamic between Sam and Ruby is so sad and I can’t believe she’d betray her like that.
