Sexism and fat shaming aside (which was hard), this is a really compelling mystery. I liked the Minnesota setting and Cork’s ties to the Anishinaabe of the region. The story of the Windigo is chilling. Of course Cork is a flawed man…like so many other male protagonists in edgy mysteries but you still root for him.
