At first I wasn’t sure what to think, but now that I’m almost half way through the book I find my self hating in. It has all the aspects of a good book but they aren’t being used properly. The plot isn’t compelling and the main character is described as cunning and powerful but thus far has been weak and embarrassing. I honestly expected something more interesting and exciting.

I truly despise this book. It’s gotten to the point where I want to throw the book across the room. Why is the main character so incredibly weak and whole heartedly not a feminist. To call this book a feminist retelling of Macbeth is to not understand what feminism is. The author paints a painfully stupid main character under the guise that eventually she will somehow become clever.I wish I could unread this book.
