Narrator is using the same tones and inflections that I have gotten used to hearing from Dan Carlin. Makes this book feel a little more like I'm listening to a podcast rather than a novel. Not exactly a bad thing, given the first-person nature of the writing.

The undermined execution and aftermath was more realistic, horrifying, and depressing than the movie could ever have been able to depict- and I clearly remember how *extremely well* it was portrayed on the screen.
