Damn you TJ Kline why is every book I’ve read of yours so far all so bittersweet 😭 this is such a beautiful book and I’m crying in a walk in cooler again. It’s so heart-wrenching. I didn’t expect the end. And it just makes me think of my grandmother and what she’s going through. Fuck.

If we could skip the “killing off all the humans” bit, have good humans in the first place, and they have true sentience and empathy immediately I wouldn’t be afraid of AI becoming so advanced. But of course it’s unregulated and controlled by billion/trillionaire(s) so we’ll never have robots that don’t hate us and we’re doomed.
