Anna Marie seemed to be condescending with Sofia about her struggles with cooking. Her (meaning Anna Marie) grandfather was a more patient teacher.
I can relate to struggling in the kitchen, but I've never been that bad. Just nervous and skittish, but pretty good once I put my mind to it and showed determination.

I enjoyed the build up to Sofia and Anna Marie's relationship and the relationship itself after they kissed/got together. I frequently love light and fluffy reads and this was both. 😁

That was an adorable ending to a sweet, fluffy graphic novel. I appreciated the depth in Sofia's relationship with her mother. Both characters felt like they could be real people and I love it when fiction is written that way.

It's endearing that Sofia wanted to eat the mistake or the "dud" cookies. It's fun to eat the small cookies or the ones that aren't aesthetically pleasing. 😆

I agree with what Anna Marie said about how baking is less forgiving than cooking because the measurements need to be exact. That's why I felt more comfortable with baking for the longest time. I liked that baking was precise.
