Guessing at the percent because I don’t want to double check, but it has reached PEAK stupidity. Nearly threw my kindle. But honestly there is something about this book that pulls me right back in, eye rolling and all. I know I’ll be back. So I guess that makes me the stupid one.

There’s a certain type of sentence structure that, while perfectly valid, is overused by amateur writers. It’s fine; everyone starts somewhere. But it becomes like a repeated beat in my mind, and it’s extremely frustrating. I’m pushing through though because I’m intrigued by the premise.
