I’m not sure if this is intentional but I really like the parallels of Gretchen and David’s stories in the jungles of South America. It almost seems like Gretchen is a similar version of David and I’m shocked at how brushed over it was.

I’m glad Lestat learnt how consent works and also to have protected sex , he seems happy about it too and so does Gretchen. Good for them.
