I’m going to sleep on this, but I’m almost certainly going to throw in the towel on this book. I feel like it’s pulling tropes and different aspects from popular dystopian books and mashing them together to try to make one story work and it’s not working 😑 and how am I almost 300 pages in and there’s no fucking world building? Why did the world go to shit in this book?

Strongly considering DNF’ing this 😖

Not sure if I’m really liking it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I mean I must…I’m nearly 200 pages into it, right? It’s just kinda underwhelming. Maybe my hopes were too high?
