I feel so sad for Vernon. I like that the book had the foreword in it by the author because I can really tie together the similarity between him and Vernon in that regard. Such a unique book. I hope to keep as much magic in my life as possible.

I really like how I feel like the main character author is actually a young boy based on the things he says. Maybe I am biased bc I expect a lot from this book but I like it!

I like the word choice that McCammon chooses for Cory. I am enjoying this book so far. Great imagery descriptions.
