Book isn’t going in the direction I thought it was, but then again the direction I had projected was really boring so I’m very glad.
Our “new” important character is an absolute dickhead, but he is increasingly climbing my tier list. Very essential, and I’m sure there is something very important we don’t know yet.
On a more important note, this book has me just as hooked as the last.

Wow Acaelus is actually a psycho. And maybe it’s not really all his doing, but I’m still going to pin it on him.
Story has plateaued for the first time since the beginning of book 1. Im only slightly disappointed, but I think that’s only because it’s been so much more constant than most books that the first time we start the inevitable loop of slow story progression of story it feels rough.
