Oof. Just oof. You dont realize something is a wound on your heart till someone else goes through something similar and speaks the truth of it. Its important to know. Its even more important than that is to listen. How do we help people or welcome them if we do not try to know them? How do we love someone if we do not try to empathize or know them? How do we care for people if we do not LOVE ALL PEOPLE.
