I’m disappointed with the writer’s who can’t seem to understand that Roosevelt saw the overhunting of the animals while being a hunter himself — this led to him protecting lands for animals to continue to live in perpetuity. Hunters are the best naturalists and preservationists. Pheasants Forever is an example.
