I started reading this book today. So far, it’s okay, but I don’t like how the characters in this book throw around weight jokes 24/7. I just find it distasteful and something that has absolutely no place in books—or in any form of media, for that matter.
I’ve been thinking about maybe creating a tag on GR where I can save books that I think contain fatphobic jokes or language.

If you’re noticing it enough to start keeping records, the tag has already earned its job. I vote yes on the tag. Future-you deserves the receipts 📝🫶🏽

You absolutely should! I despised the weight jokes in this one too , ended up enjoying the book as it went on so hopefully you do too 🤞🏻
I've heard this book includes bodyshaming, and if I'm not wrong the mmc also bodyshames her and gives her a mean nickname related to her figure, and honestly, coming from the mmc himself, it sounds super disgusting and criminal. Aint no way people are swooning over this pathetic excuse of a man. So I won't be reading this book but I hope you enjoy if you continue 🤍
