My kids were constantly interrupting me last night so I only got to about page 85. But I like it so far.

What is our guess about the General. Will they hate fuck and fall in love. Or will he woo her then turn on her when she gets powerful?

I get the impression he is the first of two love interests. Like a why choose situation is coming because they don’t have much for chemistry.

Like how they did with dire bound/ fury bound.

I think she is going to become a dark assassin or something. Maybe she is the darkness, its her focus. She sees herself in her dreams or her new mentor even. This general will train her up and she will turn on him for the sake of her homeland? Maybe?

But I agree, there could be another love interest. I think the general will fall in love with her, she will betray him and find love with another so he will be scorned and become her ultimate enemy.

Yeah I’m getting similar vibes.
