i can force myself to breeze through book three by the end of today

still so much to clean

i intend to finish this series reread the same time im done cleaning
then i can relax and treat myself to an actual good book

see i already forgot what i rated book one

i’m rating book two one star

bc i recall nothing before elias and the fmc got taken by robert
so if there were any good moments
i don’t recall
and don’t care to clearly

so i might as well get it over with tonight
even as it’s three thirty in the morning

maybe it’ll be mediocre writing and lame ass sex scenes i can skip

elias also takes a bullet to the shoulder for dex

the guys are jailed for a bit and then let go to track down the fmc, jagger and ivan

this big secret jagger had was he’s the son of ivan
ew

so either ivan still wants to fuck the fmc
or maybe he’ll make her and jagger fuck and marry

maybe he wants his long lost son to take over his empire idk

i thought i’d put the next book off until tomorrow

ugh

so robert got a stupid ass chapter or two
and dies a lame ass quick death

she slit his throat and he bled to death

we barely even lingered on that bit of agony for him

the guys somehow figured it out earlier and are here now

but then ivan comes with a stupid evil monologue

then the stupid feds

then jagger and the fmc are drugged and taken

thanks to the feds smoke bombs

bc wtf is there a robert pov chapter now

i’m predicting elias to become an mmc for her

if that shithead brother of hers and that russian mob creep don’t die a gruesome bloody awful death , i’m throwing this series in the bin

i’m sick and tired of these kinds of stories not having a proper ending
where the bad guys get what they fucking deserve

esp when the mcs don’t improve at all
and stay stupid from start to finish
