ENGL 3300 — I have 9 pages left in the story and I am slowly being lost. I have loved the book so far but I am honestly confused. Hopefully Austen brings it together with these last two chapters!! For the class I’m reading this for itself — I am getting frustrated.

[ENGL 3300] I’ve reached Ch.25. I am fascinated by this novel. I find it very interesting but I am finding some of the gothic themes very cliche. I am, however, amused by how self aware Austen is about the gothic themes. She uses Mr. Tilney to convey these cliche themes. I find it unfortunate that she is caught by Tilney at the end. Ugh!

[ENGL 3300] I’m quite liking this book so far! I can tell you that I do not like John Thorpe at all and quite enjoy Mr Tilney. I have about 22 more pages to read for this assignment!!! Dinner calls.
